Institute of Engineering was set up by Jiwaji University in the year 2000 to impart education, training, research and consultancy facilities in engineering and technology .The aim of the Institute is to provide quality education in tune with the rapidly emerging new global order. It has completed seven years of academic excellence. It is the outcome of growing competence in the field of Technical and professionalism in Engineering. Admission in this institute is taken through the PRE ENGINEERING TEST organized by VYAPAM Bhopal. Total intake in this institute is 60 for Electronics engineering and 40 for Chemical Engineering.

Institute of Engineering at present two branches namely:
 
1.Electronics Engineering
2.Chemical Engineering

Now, the Institute is going to start two new branches namely Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science to impart better training to the students of the region.
